London Central Secondary School was built in the same year as SCITS, 1922. It was enlarged twice in the 60’s and underwent extensive renovations in the 90’s to make it mostly wheelchair accessible. The school is consistently ranked as the best in London.
Could London Central Secondary School serve as a model for SCITS and the Lambton Kent District School Board? The building is the same age, and would have many of the same issues that are apparently such a problem at SCITS. If London has a successful school in a historic 1922 building, is that not a viable option in Sarnia as well?
